2 MONTHS AFTER SUNNY T’S DEATH

ANOTHER FUJI STAR, BAYO OJUYOBO DIES OF PARTIAL STROKE

Exactly two month after the demise of Top Fuji star, Sunny T Adesankan who died after a brief illness in a private hospital at Mushin, Lagos another top Fuji star, Alhaji Bayo Akanni Ojuyobo bowed to death at a general hospital in Ikeja, Lagos after long battle with partial stroke. It was learnt that Ojuyobo gave up the ghost about 6pm on Sunday, 9th of September 2012. The late Ojuyobo had been in a long battle with the ailment two years and he was admitted in Durosoleye Hospital Allen Avenue, Ikeja Lagos till middle of Last year and he had to be discharged when he couldn’t afford the medical and drugs bills again. King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal popularly called K1 later came to his rescue when he gave him one Million Naira which sustained him to some extent in the hospital before was finally discharged. The Ibadan born artiste was on expensive medications for six months and when he couldn’t meet up had to cry out for assistance from the public in order for him to seek medical attention abroad. In view of this an entertainment company called CEEDEE organized later packaged a survival show for him in Ogba in order to raise funds for him. Unfortunately on the day set aside for the show a fellow fuji colleague of his Sunny T passed on this later affected the turn out of the show. K1 later donated another sum of one Million Naira added to the funds raised amongst some friends of his in order to facilitate his trip for proper treatment unfortunately he passed on at the general hospital. He had since buried according to muslim rites on Tuesday, 11th of September in his Mowe, Ogun State house . He is survived by six children and a wife. Fuji national President, Alh Lateef Saka Odunsi Orobo , Rasheed Ayinde Merege, Safejo, Atawewe manager, and other Fuji artistes were all present at the burial.
