TRADOMEDICAL PRACTITIONER WARNED AGAINST IMPOSITION OF CANDIDATE.
A tradomedical practitioner in the state has enjoined the leadership
of the various political parties never to indulge in the imposition of
any candidate in during the forthcoming governorship election come
2016.
Speaking with newsmen in his residence the Chief (Dr.) Clement Okoboh
said that the era is over of imposing candidate on the people as Edo
people are already wise to chose whoever can lead them or govern them
in Edo State.
Dr. Okooboh maintained that democracy is nothing but the government of
the people by the people and for the people adding that the people
must lead, according to him imposition of candidate can easily give
room to crash which is wrong.
He enjoined whoever emerged the Government to seek the wisdom of God
and ancestors for protection stressing that the general interest of
the public should be upper most in their heart according to him
whoever become governor should know that he/she is a servant adding
that they should do well in office and let prosperity takes
precedence.
The soft spoken gentleman called on all individual to support the
administration of General Mohammedu Buhari so as to succeed in the
fight against corruption according to the tradomedical practitioner
the law makers in the state should do their work perfectly instead of
turning a rubber stamp.
Chief Oko-oboh advice the youths never to allowed them to be used by
money bag politician who wants power by all means by using youths as
thugs and for ballot box snatching in the past according to him the
youths should know that they are leaders of tomorrow and should be
respected.
Amb. Oko-oboh said that he was honour because of his good work and
dedication to the will of God and the ancestors stressing that the
various honour bestorwed on him will spur him to do more humanitarian
gesture and urged all to do what is right at all time.
Chief Oko-oboh disclosed that politic is not a dirty game rather it is
those that play it that make it dirty adding that those involved in
politics should do it right and ensure that the dividend of democracy
gets to the electorate he added.
