The artiste who left the country last week to United Kingdom, London will be performing at two shows before leaving for US and Canada where he’s billed to perfom in some state like Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Miami, New York, New Jersey, Boston, Maryland, Washington D.C, Los Angeles, Oakland, Sam Francisco,Indiana, Phoenix, Qklahoma City, Detrolt, Denver, Atlanta, Minnesota, Philadelphia, Rhoda Island,Canada, Toronto, Montreal, Queec and other states. The stylish artiste is expected back in the country by the end of October for the Muslim Festival (Eldir Kabir) after which he’ll jet out to continue the tour in November according to Information reaching us from US and Canada the tour is packaged by S.G Entertainment owned by US based Nigerian big boy, Gbolahun Oseni popularly called Baba Oloye and he’s ensuring that tickets to the show tagged Atawewe world tour 2012 is available. However, we spoke with the Lagos born Fuji star on phone shortly before he left the country and he confirmed the trip to us. "it is true am embarking on a world tour to the US and Canada which is a normal thing for a recording artiste. I hardly stay in the country for three months without going on tour. I will be in the US and Canada early September and return home briefly in October and continue in November. On the recent demise of two fuji acts, Sunny T and Bayo Ojuyobo and what measures are they taking to avoid such reoccurrence" well, I feel very bad. I was on stage performing at my Sundays weekly gigs in Ikeja when I received the new, it was shocking and it affected my performance that day, I had to move my travelling because I felt it was mandatory for me to attend Bayo’s burial. Death is inevitable there’s nothing anyone can do to stop it except to pray that God should put an end to untimely deaths in our industry. I will also implore my colleagues to ensure that they’re at peace with each other, we must learn to settle our differences, May the souls of Sunny T and Bayo rest in perfect peace. When asked on his other plans aside the tour he said that he’s working on a new album which he intends to complete by October.
