Celebrity Birthday: Monalisa Chinsa Adds Another Year


Nollywood light-skinned actress, Monalisa Chinda is today, Thursday, September 13, 2012 a year older. The delectable actress and movie producer, who is also a Glo ambassador, is no doubt a big fish in the motion pictures water.

She hails from Ikwerre tribe in Rivers State same as Tonto Dikeh. The divorced single mother is the first child from her family six comprising two sons and four
daughters.

Monalisa is a graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State. In 2011, she was made the Face of Port Harcourt - Carnival Queen

Charles Novia Opens Up On Fight Between Omotola Jolade

‘I am very dangerous when I am cross, Omotola. By the time I am through with you, you will be shocked what will happen to you and your career’.

The above statement is an extract from the book written by the prolific film maker, actor and director, Charles Novia.

Charles has poetically revealed the secret behind his fight with Omotola Jolade-Ekeinde.

'Nollywood Till November' the book, states "As the recording of the movie continued Omotola somehow started getting on a lot of the crew and cast nerves. Since this is a ‘tell-it-like-it-is’ book and since I am generally known to be outspoken, I believe I have to reveal a bit of this, not in any way to disparage her person but to be candid in my opinion. Little unnecessary skirmishes with one person or the other became rampant. It got to a head one day that my Production Manager, who is usually easy-going and friendly lost his temper and came to me. ‘Sir, please this will be the last time I will ever work with you if Omotola features in your movie after this one!’ he complained.

I was taking everything in my stride and trying to calm frayed nerves when a couple of days to the end of the shoot, Omotola practically drove me crazy. I am very calm most of the time as a person and as a movie director but that day I blew my top!

I remember screaming at her and she was shocked at first but made the mistake of putting up a defence. That was when I basically warned her in a very deadly tone to be mindful of me.

Most of my crew members were shocked to see me in that mood. No one had ever seen me like that. I remember Norbert Young, Empress and Tari West calming me, while Ramsey sat coolly in a corner fiddling with his phone. Omotola seeing my mood, wisely went to her car and sulked.‘Who told you to leave my set?’ I bawled. ‘Get back here and lets shoot!’

Treasure didn't take it serious until she was called and told that one more visit would result in bloodshed, that she should leave town and not return. Treasure has left Lagos and is in hiding. Nobody knows who's behind the death threats but the people calling her knew of her day-to-day movement; what she eats and when she moved house. They even gave her her new house address before she moved.

The Nigerian police have stepped into the case but have not been able to solve or catch the culprit(s). But friends of the actresses believe that the threats are coming from insiders because they are able to tell the identical twins apart.

Alleged Sex Scandal: Shan George In Trouble With Tee Mac, Warned To Stay Off His 21-Year-Old Son**Allegedly Slept With 4 Band Boys

If report by BON is anything to go by, then, controversial Calabar, Cross River State-born actress, Shan George may be in big trouble with former PMAN president, Tee Mac Omatsola Iseli. This is because, according to what was reported, Shan George is being alleged of nursing a sizzling romance with the flutist's 21-year-old son.

As reported, Shan was alleged to have slept with about four band members of Tee Mac, who we learnt were young guys, during the FIFA World Cup held in South Africa in 2010. She reportedly gave the excuse of cold weather as the reason of having sex with the boys. The report further claimed that Tee Mac was fully aware of Shan's under 'G' runs with his boys she (Shan) allegedly slept with but he chose to keep quite.

So, when Shan made effort to have a taste of Tee Mac's handsome son's 'magic stick', Tee Mac reportedly blocked the 'runs' probably knowing what Shan might be capable of doing with his son.

It was further reported that about two months ago, Shan was suppose to make a trip to the just concluded London Olympics, where she was reportedly supposed to be among some Nigerian celebs to meet with Team Nigeria, but Tee Mac reportedly influenced the light-skinned actress being dropped when probably forsaw that Shan would use the opportunity to concluded her mission with his son, who was reported to make the trip.

When we asked at what time Shan would be less busy or available to talk to us so that we can know when to call back, we were told that it is not certain Shan would be free anytime soon.

We later called her number (0802) back at about 2:47pm on Wednesday, September 12, 2012, but the same voice believed to be Shan's told us that she (Shan) travelled to Abuja but dropped her phone at home in Lagos.

Recall that not too long ago, Shan allegedly accused married Nollywood actress of sleeping around like dogs. She came under attack by colleagues and fans for that accusation. She has since denied ever saying such.
