His Royal Majesty, Olobu of Ilobu-Asake, Oba Asiru Olatoye Olaniyan II JP, on Saturday, 23rd May 2026, installed the new Olugbobamu of Gbobamu in Ilobu.
The installation, which took place at the Olobu's palace, is one of the most influential components of indigenous authority in Ilobu.
The Olugbobamu Chieftaincy occupies a central position within the Ilobu traditional governance system.
Beyond ceremonial duties, it serves as senior advisers to the Oba, custodians of customs, and key figures in palace administration and community affairs.
The new Olugbobamu is the Chief Executive Officer of AMTIACO Global and Estate Management LTD, both companies located in Lagos.
An international professional in clearing and forwarding, business administration, logistics expert, entrepreneur, and supply chain and real property management.
BIOGRAPHY:
The new Olugbobamu was born into a respected and reputable family lineage; he is the son of Alhaji Oyedokun Muibi Olabode of the renowned Fagbayibi Oyedokun’s House, Gbobamu, and Alhaja S. Popoola, the only child of the late Dr. Popoola Fagbenro Oladosu of S.S. Abass House, Woru.

Alhaji Oyedokun Sheriff Adeshola has achieved a tenacious academic and professional background, which includes:
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution.
• Professional certification from the Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management, United States of America.
• Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the College of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (International Premier Business School) in partnership with ESPAM Formation University, Benin Republic.
• Certification from the Chartered Institute of Warehousing and Materials Management.
