The Nigerian general election of 2015 was the 5th quadrennial election to be held since the end of military rule in 1999. And it would be recalled that some had threatened to declare war on the nation if their favourite candidate lost the election but all that is now in the past as the incumbent president made a phone call to the president-elect
even before he was declared winner of the presidential election. The ever-smiling estranged wife of Chief Deinde Fernandez in a brief interview took time to advice and congratulate the president saying “I just wish him all the best. The campaigning, the rancour are all over now and we are all one Nigeria.
We’re all one citizen of this great nation and he should see everybody as his children and try to alleviate the problem of everybody equally and may God help him.”
