HOW NURTW TOP SHOTS, AKANNI OLOHUNWA AND MC OLUOMO RECONCILE THEIR 2YRS RIFT

Calm has now returned to the Lagos chapter of NURTW, as the feud between the former chairman, Rafiu Akanni Olohunwa, and the former treasurer ,Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo has been resolved.

The reconciliation was cemented days back in Abuja by Alhaji Najeem Usman Yarsin, the National President of the Union and the entry executive.

It came as a surprise and shock for members of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW)Lagos State chapter and people who are aware of the long time rift between the two former leaders of the Union, Alh Rafiu Akanni Olohunwa and Alh MC Oluomo when they heard about the settlement of both Lagos born bosses. Information available to Islanders reveal that the National body sent invitation to the two, two weeks ago. The stylish top shots, Olohunwa and MC Oluomo visited the National house at Abuja last Monday, 10th September where the National Council Executive addressed and advised them on the battle for supremacy between them. It was leant that at the end of the close to four hours meeting both embraced peace and promised the National Executive of brotherly friendship from that moment. Now,what would be the fate of their loyalists who believed they can't end their two years rift? The question of many is that would they return back to office? What is the fate of incumbent Chairman, Tajudeen Agbede?

If you may recall, the fragile bond of friendship and mutual understanding between Olohunwa and MC, was damaged due to what insiders termed as struggle for power and control of the union’s purse
