ALHAJI OLOHUNTOYIN AKINDELE COMMISSIONS NEW HOTEL, NIKADEL ON LAGOS ISLAND

　

A newly built hotel owned by popular Lagos socialite Alhaji Olohuntoyin Akindele, was on Saturday 24th of August commissioned in Lagos Island.

Alhaji Oluhuntoyin Ukumoloyin, Managing Director of the Nikadel Hotel, said that the Nigeria hospitality industry was growing and needed support, adding that "This would complement the effort of the existing hotels to add value to the industry. He said Nigeria's hospitality industry particularly the hotels lacked qualified personnel and some were not living up to international standards.

According to him One major factor that seems to be militating against efforts at boosting the hospitality industry in Nigeria is the dearth of suitable accommodation, especially those in the four and five star categories he said Nikadel Hotel would treat customers like kings and queens to show the differences in the issue of customer service as the hotel would be expanded in future to meet the coming challenges in the industry.

The hotel which possess the state-of-the-art facilities has 50 rooms, conference facility, laundry service, an exclusive ground bar, intercom phone service and CC TV in and around the outer part of the building. The hotel was commissioned with dignitaries from all walks of life in attendance amongst the guests present were Alhaji Olowo, Alhaji Shina Oyetunde (Shina Kekere) Baba Oja, Jaga Micheal, Mustapha Adeboye, Mrs. Patecho (Real International), Alhaji Akin, Alhaji Mustapha Suleon Sanda, Alhaji Kosoko Sikiru, Mfemi Verscace, C.E.O Sanwo Foams, Seyioluwa, Kazeem Quadri,Alhaji Folarin, Olori Omolora, Mrs. Bunmi, Mrs. Kenny, Mrs. A.Y.O and a host of others.

To commence the activities lined up at the commissioning an Islamic prayer was rendered by Alfa Rasheed and Imam Adam Foluhunsho later,Alhaji Sulaiman Alao Malaika mounted the bandstand to thrill the guests.

The hotel rooms structured in contemporary style, total provision of amenities and with a dedicated staff strength of over forty, no doubt that the Nikadel Hotel is pushing to be one of the best amongst the hotels situated on the ISLAND.
